Today, i will share one toolkit from #EveryoneCanPlay framework - Six Bricks by Care for Education. This innovative educational tool from the LEGO© Foundation has been transforming classrooms around the world since 2013 by making learning both fun and effective. What are Lego Six Bricks?

Each set consists of six LEGO® DUPLO® bricks in six bright colors. Through fun and short activities with 6 Bricks there are 600+ activities around memory, movement, creativity ,SEL and more. As an Educator or parent you can adapt these activities and make your own activities to match the children’s skills and interests.

What skills do the children practice?

Six bricks have become a very important part of many classrooms for skill development.It helps in development of many such as problem solving,collaboration, language skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills.It also helps in physical development and brain development of children.

How can we incorporate #EveryoneCanPlay(six bricks) in the classroom?

Six bricks are easy to handle and very convenient to use .It can be used individually or in groups depending on the activity taken in the class. It can be used as a warm up tool in morning before starting the regular teaching session or can also be inculcated into the lesson. We can use six bricks in most of the subject areas, whether it is mathematics or phonics or even for assessment.

6 bricks isn't just all about building blocks. It is about fostering innovation and encouraging divergent thinking. Children are prompted to explore unconventional solutions and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
